Sentai Filmworks is having a contest, and the drawing I submitted was one of nine to get selected as a finalist. :D
The conditions for entering were to draw a character from a series that Sentai has licensed, on a template of a Hand that they provided.
Voting will start here on the 16th of November, and continue until it's conclusion on the 20th.
You can vote once a day (which increases the winning odds).
The winner will receive 5 anime DVD collections, 4 of which are among my favorites, I haven't seen the other one, so it would be awesome to win.
If your interested in voting (I'd greatly appreciate it), my entry should be titled Isuzu Sento - Falling.

Please vote for my contest entry! ^_^

It will only let me vote for you once... It won't let me vote for you again... :cry:

I also noticed that.
It seems that voting only happens once, where they had originally stated that you could vote once each day, I'm actually more comfortable with this to be honest. ^^;

XD Well, we can vote for a different person each day... But I only voted once, there was another artwork that was pretty good but it wasn't as creative as yours so you get my vote.

The voting has ended anyway. :D
It says that the results will be announced before Thanksgiving, which pretty much means sometime tomorrow, I'll mention how it went once they have. ^_^

Thank you for voting! ^_^

Of the other entries, the two that I liked the most would have to of been the Kuriyama Mirai drawing with the night sky background, and the one with Golden Darkness.
I don't really mind too much if I lose, on the grounds that the other contestants put a lot of work into it, so I feel that whoever wins deserves the victory.

You are too nice! It's a great personality trait to be humble, but you deserve to win!

O.o; That's a bit... Unprofessional? They should try to keep it on schedule...

Thank you! ^_^
Knights of Sidonia - I never got around to watching it when it came out, so it's still on my plan to watch list.
As for the others:
Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! - is one of my favorite anime of all time, plus it's from Kyoto Animation, which is my favorite studio. ^_^
Kyoukai no Kanata - is another great series from Kyotani. ^_^
Persona 4: The Animation - I absolutely love the game series, but it was actually the anime that influenced me to buy the game (even though it was on my wishlist for years). ^_^
No Game, No Life - yet another great slapstick anime, I really enjoyed it when the series aired. ^_^

I've heard of them all, and I've seen a little of Persona 4... I wanted to watch it more, but I think I was taking college classes when my sis was watching it so I didn't get to see most of it.

I've been really tempted to watch No Game, No Life but again... I don't have time... I have a bunch that I watch with my sis, and she has to work a lot so we just wait until we have some time then watch whatever is on our list.

I'm gonna have to look into the others too... Ya know... Just for reference... Not at all to overwhelm my que...

I would have to recommend Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, it's from Kyoto Animation, which is my favorite studio. ^_^
(They're the makers of: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Hyouka, Full Metal Panic!, K-ON!, Clannad, Kanon, InuYasha, Lucky Star, etc.)
They also made Beyond the Boundary, which is another good show, but Chuunibyou is definitely better.
Hyouka - My favorite anime of all time, sadly No one has licensed the series outside of Japan, and it came out in 2012.
Amagi Brilliant Park - My second favorite anime from KyotAni, the character I drew (Isuzu Sento) is from that, the series has several references to Full Metal Panic!.
A couple other shows that came out not too long ago:
Free! - I haven't watched this one, the trailer creeped me out. >_<
Sound! Euphonium - A great series about a high school brass band, at the latter part it takes a mild and someone surprising turn towards yuri.
Kokoro Connect - A psychological, paranormal, mystery comedy.
Tamako Market - I don't really know how to describe this one, but I enjoyed it.

Free is the women's equivalent of "hentai" I would say. I've only seen part of one episode and its all fanservice geared toward women... There are a lot of these kinds of shows geared toward male audiences, and a lot of guys found Free to be sexually objectifying men (LOL go figure, its ok if it's half naked girls, but half naked guys is not?). Anyway, it wasn't my cup o' jo... So... Yeah, I don't recommend it unless you like to watch guys throwing their clothes off, wearing almost nothing, and usually ending up dripping wet from head to foot. It's definitely awkward, and I'm a girl saying this...

Kokoro connect is awesome! XD I love that one!

I'm currently making a list of recommended anime, and the rest of these are going on it! Probably near the top as I'm curious as all hell about Chuunibyou... XD I just need time to catch up on all of these anime... faintstare

Thanks for the recommendations! My sis watched/watches Free sometimes... But lately has been more interested in Haikyu (a volleyball sportime), I think it's more cute than Free from the sounds of it, but lighter hearted than Kuroko no Basuketto (which I recommend season one of that anime, it was awesome... It weren't as awesome in the second season, sadly, and I lost interest when they started over-doing the abilities and making it more sci-fi? Fantasy? idk... STARE SCROLL )

Agreed, it was an emotional roller coaster. ^_^

Do you have a MyAnimeList?

No. I try to keep my subscriptions and accounts minimal so I have fewer passwords to memorize, I still have over a dozen various accounts... Luckily, I just pay the subscription and use my sister's crunchyroll account.

I still have to catch up of Fate/Stay night... XD

Ah, MyAnimeList is pretty much just an information database, that makes it easier to keep track of anime and manga your interested in. ^^;
For an example, my anime list includes:
Watching: 161
Completed: 572
On-Hold: 84
Dropped: 69
Plan to Watch: 656
Total Entries: 1,542
You can also favorite up to 10 animes, mangas, characters and people.

Hmm. . . I'm not really sure I should do that, I don't mind asking my watchers for support, but I think asking a group might be a little much. ^^;
Thanks for the suggestion though. ^_^
