Sorry if I haven't been posting regularly, life has once again prevented me from doing so. ^^;

[Relating to Graphics Work]

Anyway, on to what I've been up to. ^_^
The portraits for my game are temporarily on hold, since I was recently given a copy of Manga Studio, much of my graphics work has shifted to there, and since I'm trying to keep my projects consistent between the softwares, I haven't gotten around to working on it, as I'm making them in SAI.
However, I've started making several character base portraits in Manga Studio, which I'm hoping to share in the future.
Here is a quick work in progress shot of the bases:

RPG Maker Character Bust3

My original intention was to avoid drawing the left arm, and only draw the sleeve when it is shown, but now I'm considering whether or not I should just go ahead and draw the left arm.
Any thoughts?

There are several more drawings that I'm working on, some in SAI and some in Manga Studio.
I'll try to post one of them when it's finished.

[Roku, Netflix, Acorn TV and Crunchyroll]

Last January I took a chance and bought a Roku device, and I must say that I am absolutely loving it! :D
I've been watching Fairy Tail on Netflix, as I missed the chance to watch it when it aired.
And I also signed up for Crunchyroll and Acorn TV.
Acorn is a British television network, and it has a lot of great mystery shows on it, one of my favorites is Inspector George Gently.
As for Cruchyroll: I've been a member since 2007, but I haven't been active over the last few years, so I have a lot of catching up to do. ^_^

[Video Games]

With all of the hype on the next gen consoles, it inspired me to go out and buy. . . an N64. :gaming: - Loop
Nothing can beat a classic, and it brings back so many memories from my youth. ^_^
Oh, after a seven year hiatus, I Finally got arround to finishing Phantasy Star: Universe. :D
Now I just have to finish all of the other PS2 games that I've kept on hold. ^^;

[Special Thanks!]

I also want to thank :iconobsidianarrows: for they're generous gift of premium membership! ^_^

I often draw the left arm on a separate layer below the rest of the work in an angle like that to make sure it's in the correct position, then only finish up what's visible. You could probably do the same and just vary the dimensions a bit based on the body type, just to have a reference on where the sleeve goes. Then, if you want to make it visible for something, you already have it partly finished. :D
